The whole office was so psyched to be on the same Arizona sports league team together. I had found that there was a Scottsdale kickball league and where you could put together your own team, or be put into the draft and let them pick a team for you. I thought that it would be fun either way, but when I started telling people at work about it, they all wanted to be on the same team.

I put a signup sheet in our break room and it filled up within a matter of days. I called the phone number of the people in charge of the Arizona sports league and informed them that I had a team already and asked them how I needed to proceed to get us registered.

I was transferred to the person in charge of the Scottsdale kickball league registrations and she helped me with everything else. We have our first game, a week from Tuesday and our cool team shirts were just delivered. I am hoping to win a lot of our games, because I already know that we are going to have a blast playing them. This could become a yearly thing for us, if we really like it.

My parents were shocked to find out that I got no medical exam life insurance online. I told them all about it and they both wished that things were that easy when they were shopping around for life insurance rates. Back when they signed up for life insurance, there was no such thing as a no medical exam life insurance policy. Every person had to be screened, in order to receive their life insurance.

My father told me that when he requested life insurance rates, years ago, there were only two agents to get them from. Of course, there were different benefit amounts, but not like today. He thinks that he had a choice of three different numbers and the thorough physical exam was just that, thorough. Thankfully my father told me that he and my mother were very healthy and acquiring the policy was no problem.

So, when I told them all about how I just typed a few things into the computer and got several different life insurance rates, I can understand why they thought it was so nice. I could just look at everything, choose the best company and the best policy, hit send and everything else just fell into place.

My father has a big barn just full of old things that he has collected over the years. He recently discovered a bunch of kick plates and door knockers that are made of solid gold and he is selling gold online to other people for some good money. I thought that when everyone starting selling old gold jewelry and stuff that they were crazy but now that my dad has told me how much he is getting for each of his items; I want some of that money.

I looked through my jewelry box when I heard that selling gold was a smart thing to do and found that most of the things that I own are just gold plated and they needed to be solid gold for them to be worth anything. My friends are all selling old gold and walking away with some good cash and it looks like I will not be making anything from the big jump in gold prices.

I am going to ask my father if I can dig through his barn with him this weekend in hopes of finding some more old gold things to sell. If I help him, maybe he would be willing to let me have a portion of the proceeds from selling them.
