The accident was one I didn’t and wouldn’t expect from my husband. His company has even awarded him for his efficiency and years of service. Thus, when I got the call notifying me of the accident, I couldn’t help but ask why. And then it started sinking in: “Where was I going to get the money for his hospitalization? What about the good he was delivering? Is he paying for that? And will there be a court and trial involved? It was a nightmare running in my head. It’s a good thing that when I arrived in the hospital, the trucking company’s representative explained to me how the trucking insurance covered for most of his expenses.  

It’s a good thing my husband is with a company that had commercial truck insurance. If it weren’t the case, I honestly do not know if we would have been able to make it through that horrible experience. To all truck drivers’ wives out there, do make sure your husband’s company has insured not just the truck, but make sure that your husbands are covered as well. I’m glad my husband was able to benefit from the best truck insurance out there.
