My family went to our Grandparents house and enjoyed a week together with them. My dad and I helped with fixing a few things around the house and my sisters kept my grandma company. My grandpa was busying himself in adjusting the awnings in the windows (which we also helped). Back home, we also have retractable awnings for our windows. They are very effective, whether it is rain or shine.

My grandpa is very funny and he told us the story of what our dad used to be like when he was young. My dad kept denying every single thing and told us to not believe our grandpa in his stories. We just laughed at his efforts to preserve his dignity. My grandma really is a dear and she baked us cakes and cookies during our week long stay at their house. Our stay was very enjoyable and our grandparents made sure that we didn’t leave empty handed. They also told us to visit them as often as we like. I really will miss them and I hope that we can visit them again soon.
