PS/1 and PS/2 Memory Upgrades
Filed Under (Computers & Hardware) by Lily

For very little money and a little bit of time, you can enhance the performance of computers’ hard drives. That means the system would load programs faster while also providing you with far more storage space. In this article, we wanted to concentrate on PS/1 memory, PS/2 memory, PS/Note memory, and PS/ValuePoint memory, all great options. For a PS/1 Expert 2133-13T, you initial start out with four megabytes of removable space. To create a faster system, memory can be upgraded, giving you a new total of 64 megabytes. For the PS/2 such as the Premier model 77, you begin with your choice of four or eight megabytes. However, after upgrading with PS/2 memory, the system would operate at eight megabytes.

Moving on to the PS/Note, an example would be the 182 model. The installed non-removable, two megabytes can be increased to 10 megabytes. Then, you have the PS/ValuePoint computer, again, another good choice. Looking at the 6384 system K70, you start out with two options, four or eight megabytes. However, with PS/ValuePoint memory, that is increased to as much as 64 megabytes. These examples are just a few of what you will find with IBM computers. These professionals work hard to ensure every client’s needs are met. However, other computer manufacturers also provide memory upgrade. With Dell’s Workstation memory, Apple’s MacPro memory, or other types, you would enjoy much better performance.
